Axel’s parents are one of the most powerful spirits in the spirit realm, with their clan being unbeatable. However due to his mother’s death and Axel overpowering his father and taking control of his land, they have since lost that title and it has been passed down to Axel. Due to this he has a lot of enemies in both the spirit world and the human world, with spirits being disguised as humans who have been sent down to the human world to assassinate him.Since defecting from his father and his family clan he has started his own clan consisting of weaker spirits who are constantly bullied, unwanted and defectors from previous clans. Other powerful clan leaders have also allied with Axel due to his charisma and leadership, resulting in Axel overseeing seventy sub-clans.Axel’s birth given fear is displacement, meaning he is difficult to locate in battle and can mask his own aura to the point of being invisible to both the human and supernatural eye. Partnered with this fear is his ability to control darkness. He can cloak an entire area black and greatly reduce the visibility of his opponent, however he can only use this ability for a certain amount of time. He has also learned electrokinesis and pyrokinesis, both with their drawbacks. Since he was not born with this ability he must rely on triggers, without them using these powers can dangerously drain his energy.Axel’s been on earth for hundreds of years and is always behind the times. He’s used to being teased and being addressed as an old man because of it. The only thing he does keep up with is art and its latest trends. He’s always been obsessed with anything artistic since he was a child. In the spirit realm he owns several artistic pieces from paintings to sculptures and displays them throughout the main household grounds. He also draw, paint and sculpts his own pieces, displaying them on social media after eventually discovering how. What started off as a hobby turned into something more serious, resulting in him becoming an art curator due to high demand.Axel has never shared his real name to anyone except his current lover. Anyone who addresses him as his real name will trigger his spiritual instincts, resulting in him transforming and teleporting to that person. Only humans can do this, however, since they’re the creators of his realm. Despite not revealing his real name he is open about being a spirit, knowing people won’t believe him.His job on earth is to fights spirits who are trying to feed off human energy or take over the human world. He must also fight rivals to keep his clan both safe from harm and from being conquered. His goal is to eventually become the master of all spirits so he can end the hatred spirits have against humans and vice versa.
